Hyères, France – 03/2023

March 14, 2023 · In: Photography, Travel

A collection of images shot in downtown Hyères, France.

Hyères is a beautiful and diverse city that lies along the Mediterranean coast in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in the southeast of France.

Randomly, I decided to go for a walk around downtown Hyères at lunchtime with my camera.

Not surprisingly, I have been significantly more consistent with photography since I committed to sharing a photo a day for 365 days in September 2022. You can read what I learned in the first 200 days here.

My intention on this day was to just practice taking pictures. I wanted to document people doing normal everyday things and capture scenes that caught my eye or felt unique to the city itself.

All of these images were taken within an hour while walking downtown using my Sony camera with my 30mm lens. You can check out a complete list of my current street photography gear here.
